I was paying too much attention to the fact that this movie was just so freaking awesome and the actors were phenomenal. I didn't notice any of those things. It's cool to see these little details that I missed though

@4:56 No mistake, it was meant to be seen as an imaginary scene, going back to her childhood and her throwing candy to her "YOUNG" sister as if they were still kids, of course they would have to manipulate the scene into her collecting the candy in one spot, so how can she collect the candy for the scene it if it's scattered everywhere ?

I always wondered what happened to all the other kids that were there when she married Mister. You never see anyone other than Harpo.

Lol. It was a lot of mistakes in “The Color Purple” I guess cause the movie so long and it took them a long to film it 🤷🏽‍♂️🥴 it’s still an all time favorite and always be a classic! #Blackclassic💯🔥

I always noticed Oprah's arm moving. I think she was tyrna cover herself..

I think it was meant for her husband to try to kiss her. It's just showing no one really cared. They were happy she finally married and she is still in control. I also knew they couldn't use a real baby in that freezing cold so it didnt matter. Also I don't get the arrow pointing in the back of Whoopie's hair. It's suppose to be braids. It was that length in the movie. A person can tuck the braid in and sometimes it comes loose. Natural for the scene. When I looked again I noticed the part where her Father-in-law was drinking...Celie's hair in the front was pinned up. When he finished...her hair in the front was one braid on the side. The arrow was pointing in the back though.

@3:39, no mistakes, those were 2 different records, and 2 totally different scenes, watch the movie, they played 2 different songs!!
