Each Bayonetta game literally won a year's category of it's own. Bayo1 got Game of the Year along many other nominations and trophies, Bayo 2 got several awards wins from different conglomerates including the best action game of the year, now the 3rd title is game respectively best action game of the year and it hasn't even been on the market longer than 3 months. Elden Ring sure, it did well... though it released early on the year and had plenty of time to get some year through reception and feed back piling up to get game of the year. Still a huge accomplishment, to get every single title of a franchise to successfully win is outstanding

The best part of this is Whispers of Destiny playing in the background after they announced it, so epic! Bayo also has the best soundtrack of all these games ;)

I knew Metroid Dread would win in 2021....after I completed Bayonetta 3 I knew she would win in 2022. That game is FULL of non stop action.. I was killing enemies with bubbles lol

Bayonetta is truly the best. I fell in love with the series on Nintendo WiiU. I’m glad I got to experience Bayonetta with Nintendo. I hope Bayonetta 4 will be a thing in the future with Nintendo and Platinum Games. ❤

I dunno why but hearing Whispers of Destiny played makes me tear up a little... so glad the Bayo 3, despite the shitstorm it went through, got the recognition it deserved.
p.s. I have nothing against any of them, but the "two joels and two ellies" presentation is just so cringey...

There better not be another 8 year wait for Bayonetta 4. And Bayonetta 3 begs for additional multiverse-related DLC. Make it happen, Nintendo!

In my honest opinion, I took a lot of time watching many videos in terms of how combos in Bayo 3 can be executed well, with or without using items, as well as deep-diving on the lore so far. I know that this third entry, as said by the assistant director, was intended to have a sad and dark storyline, and I can see why. However, there are some missteps in the writing without providing proper context or character growth. I’m glad to see YT analysts like RakunX and Johto Jonny being able to see the further picture. While I understand the game takes place in a different timeline, I expect to see differences in the characters and their interest levels compared to the originals, while also seeing the possibilities ahead for how they grow up. With the next game setting up the B0 (Whittingham) origins, while being included in the 3rd installment, I hope this will allow for some space to clarify the last game’s context, while also trying out the mechanics. Despite the trials and tribulations the cast and production crew had faced, I’m only one of the few people to empathize with all of that, as well as how the franchise played out. With that in regard (alongside an improved software update to gameplay mechanics), as a humble Bayo fan, congrats for the win, Nintendo and PG. My two cents are given. Let’s dance, forevermore. 😌
