Armin was named to be Erwin's succesor, but floch is honestly more fit to be the scouts commander, Armin is smarter and has better strategies however that doesnt make floch stupid, he is actually extremely smart, can make elite strategies of his own but most importantly he has Erwin's willpower and he is willing to give up his humanity for success. Something Armin couldnt do

Since both sides want to commit genocide upon each other you can't moraly justify any side, only the ones who deserve to live and here's why I side with Floch and the Jeagerists;

Marley never fought for their freedom, it was given to them by the good graces of King Fritz and the Tybur family, and they decided to use their freedom to opress other nations.

Paradis Eldians fought and died for their freedom, they committed several suicide charges towards literal monsters, and they successfully won their freedom unlike the Marleyans.
And now they're defending their freedom once again against those who are actively trying to take it from them.
