No one has ever been force fed their words like Curtis Strange talking down a baby faced Tiger Woods. Get shredded by the Tiger

When Tiger joins in '96, the whole tone of the PGA Tour immediately feels fresher and cooler.

I don't think I'll ever see another Tiger. He didn't just dominate his era, but changed the game's entire culture.

In 1996 golf culture was just incredibly uptight. I won't make any direct accusations, but it would be ... remiss ... of me not to mention race, when a major venue had to get pressured into accepting black players in ... ahem ... 1990. But also there was just the attitude. There's been icy PGA players like Faldo and personable ones like Palmer and dignified ones like Jack and eccentric ones like Chi Chi Rodriguez or John Daly. But Tiger was the first one to come along to just come at the game with so much energy. Wild slashes out of the rough, screaming fist pumps during a key birdie, which would then make the crowd scream in return. He dominated in part by creating this crazed spectator environment that only he was used to and only he could thrive in. Some lower ranked guy would come in used to a smaller, quieter crowd and suddenly be playing an away game in a stadium and wilt. Tiger was personally standoffish back then, but the hype and then constant winning created alot of jealousy out of some.

I think alot of newer pros, annoyed as they were that they just couldn't compete with the guy, came around when they saw their tournament purses spike. And then a newer generation was inspired by him.

Craziest part of this video is that his caddy Michael “Fluff” Cowan is still caddying for Jim Furyk today at 73 years old.

That swing was so smooth, I prefer it so much over his violent swing from 2000-05

For him to throw his first PGA hole in one to the crowd, he had to of had 10 hole in ones before he turned pro, I’ve had 1 and I don’t think I’ll ever get one again

I remember back then a reporter asked Sandy Lyle what he thought about Tiger Woods and Lyle answered “I don’t know I haven’t played it”. 😂
