When your opponent cries for you, you should know the amount of the respect they had for this man.

I love how most of these losses are when ali is sick or is just not as good as he was before

Larry deserves respect for understanding that Ali wasn't well.
His expression shows that he knew Ali was better than him.

Despite of being suffering from Parkinson disease, he chose to fight with Larry Holmes who's at the peak of his career at that time. He took punches for 10 rounds all the way! but still didn't submit, until some other had to stop the fight, marking his first defeat by stoppage. Huge respect!

Imagine being so good that out of 60 games you lose les than 10% of those games and half those losses needed you to have Parkinson’s Disease

In the early 80’s I was walking through a mall called Northland outside Detroit. I looked to my right as I was walking and Muhammad Ali was sitting at a banquet table signing autographs. There wasn’t a single person at the table except him so I walked over and he signed a piece of paper for me. I thanked him and walked away. I don’t remember if we even said hello to each other. Looking back now, I can’t believe it happened. I had a chance to talk to him, and I most certainly regret that I didn’t. I was just a dumb kid.

You should have mentioned how Tyson promised Ali at the age of JUST 13 that he will evenge his loss against Trevor Berbick the moment he had the chance to and did just that in front of Ali!
