📼To land a job in tech you need to be prepared. Tip #1: Do the homework! Take a moment. Look up the company on the website and check out the About Me page. Figure out, some core values of the company and the services that they offer. If you're applying for a technical company, find out what technical attribute is unique about that company that you're applying for. This shows the employer that you are willing to take that initial extra step to figure out what you can bring to the table.
📼Be confident to land a job in tech. Tip #2: Don’t doubt yourself. When you're applying for a technical role, the job description can be very daunting. A lot of times you may not meet every single requirement for the position. But don't negate your skill set or talk down about yourself. Let the employer decide whether or not you meet the requirements for the job!
Land a Job in Tech by Showing Interest - Tip #3: Ask Questions
A lot of people forget to ask questions. Most interviews last about one hour. They should release one or two questions. For example, if you are applying for a technical role, you can ask what cloud providers the company uses in its environment. That's a great question that gives a little more technical depth, it shows that you are engaged, and it shows that you did the homework. Always feel free to ask questions because that shows engagement and it also shows interest in the role. That's going to take you far in your career.
