I do not agree that you NEED parasite control, I'm glad you guys touched on that. I don't treat any of my fish with it but I also haven't had any bad breakouts from parasites. Keep these interviews coming I am loving them lots of info that I never knew or thought of.

Solid information. Glad you did this follow up. She knows her stuff.

I did post that horrid tub video. I see lots of issues to improve on, but it's all a learning process now. For instance; I need to speak up, maybe mention the name of the channel, ask ppl to like and sub. And much more...

Very good info!  I use a tablespoon of salt per 10 gallons in guppy tanks because I generally have more fish in each tank than I should and salt prolongs stability.  Do a video on her ex roomie, the headless, armless guy behind you!

Thank you both for the informative video. I'll have to save this one to my playlists for future reference. Right now I've got a few Bettas coming in the mail from Taiwan and I have been on the fence about treatment. Now I feel more prepared. ☺️

I never medicate my fish and I don't quarantine either. if my fish don't look as energetic or are showing signs of not being 100% I do extra water changes and add some salt - that's it. I have never had a fish with ich or worms.. Perhaps it is Australia's strict quarantine that's responsible.. for example goldfish spend a mandatory 3 weeks in Australian quarantine before they are released to the fish stores. Under our quarantine laws there are also a limited amount of medications that can be used on those fish while in quarantine - so if a fish is sick it will recover, die or be destroyed. Only healthy, strong fish make it out of quarantine.

Great information, always wondered about Furan- 2, now I know. I used to always use aquarium salt, but stopped when started trying to grow plants- Thanks 💕👍

Hi Mike great video! I love your Chanel! I do the same trio when getting new fish! So my question is, the last couple weeks I have had a couple fish with stringy poop, I moved them into my 10 gallon hospital tank and treated, with general cure, should I treat the community tank to just be safe and prevent it from happening to others? And how often should I treat the main tank as a preventative with General Cure?

Where did you get your bulk general cure? Not on amazon.

Hi Michael, do you feel that General Cure is as effective by adding to the water column compared to mixing it with food or dosing it with a pipette directly in the gut of the fish?
