Radioisotope Power System 60th Anniversary

Sixty years ago, the U.S. launched its first nuclear-powered satellite, with a power source that has since enabled more than two dozen pioneering space missions, including four innovative missions led by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
