Living here in WA, you got me.
After moving here from the midwest in 64'. My sisters new friend told me about a monster he saw on rop of the hill. 8ft tall, long grey hair hanging off of it. It screamed at him. Years later I remembered that story, now its known as Bigfoot/Sasquatch.
I believe him, he had no reason to lie.

I was snowmobiling on MT Spokane about midnight 30 years ago.
I was in group of 5, me included. One of the group, we will call him bret went up a hill.
He stalled his sled and while he was trying to start it he disturbed "something" it made a sound so loud that it scared all of us 100 to 200 ft away we started our sleds and took off. About then I thought what about bret, then he came flying off a 20 ft cliff on to the trail beside me and was white with fear!
He said "Did you hear that" I said "yea let's get outa here". We ran those machines as fast as they would go the 15 miles back to the rigs loaded up and didn't talk until we were off the MT.
Even then we couldn't believe what just happened to us.
I have been an outdoorsman all my life I never heard anything like that before or since.
It is hard to put into type what it sounded like, but we call it the Gulut-galu cause that is what it sounded like, and so loud I couldn't believe it

I've lived in WA for over 40 yrs. Always interested in paranormal things. I've never seen or heard of Batsquatch.

I recall Batsquatch being featured on a TV show several years ago. I believe a young guy wounded it with a high power rifle when it tried to grab his Dad in its talons.

Assuming that the Crawler is more than an urban legend, I'm thinking whatever is behind it (demons or a species) might have also linked to myths of the Wendigo.

I saw a giagantic wolf like creature ironically in port angeles, it crossed the road in front of me and was about as tall the street sign it walked past. it was about midnight, looked like a wolf but was as tall as it was, i saw it about a block away cross the street in front of me, the sign it walked past was about how tall it stood. just like a wolf, grey/white fur. Never really said anything to anyopne because i wasnt wanting them to think its just because of the movie twilight or whatever but i definitely saw something exactly like the waheela as described
