Without the haka!, sipi tau! Or siva tau! Rugby wouodnt have that warrior spirit! As its a physical game! Hard tackles! Hard runs! But at the end of every game! Hands are shaken and respect is given! 👆🏾💯🔥❤️

One thing I love about both of the warrior dances is how much they emphasize different facets of war. The first chant seems to emphasize the importance of a coherent and immediately recognizable formation for battle. The second chant seems to emphasize the importance of a warrior spirit for battle. Both are equally important, but it is awesome to see different cultures emphasize each aspect of war to their advantage.

I always look forward to the presentation of traditional war cries of the Pacific when watching battles between Pacific brothers New Zealand All Blacks and other island nations of Tonga, Samoa and Fiji) Truth be told All Blacks should always perform after an island nation performs its war cry and not the other way round because Haka is the most captivating and entertaining at the same time 😂 If subtitles could be provided.

They’re both so incredible. I really like the white uniform leader-chorus chant. Friggin awesome. The black uniform chant is unison. Still cool, but i love the leader dynamic.
