I’ve 12vhpwr 90 degrees cable but that cant fit in to my gpu so i decided to change direction (i mean psu in to my gpu instead of 90 degrees)is that gonna damage my gpu or its okay?

From a sad near fire experience, this connector is seriously terrifying. Vertical mount is safest because of tempered glass bends but also no matter what I did to keep everything straight, I was an unlucky near fire customer. Hopefully no one loses money and or worst because of these connectors. Be safe! Stick to 3080 loll

The problem is easily solved, just don't buy one.
The designers are cheaping out trying to reduce the parts count to save pennies.

this 16 pin shit is so annoying. I've struggle with random black screens for months. I've tried everything from different driver versions, swapping ram, messing with regedit, swapping harddrives, messing with TDR, making sure my temps are proper, reinstalling the OS. none of them worked. then I just tried wiggling the 16 pin and managed to recreate my black screen. found my problem. it was this shit being just bent a little, looses the connection to the power pins from time to time. the black screens were so random I thought my mobo or cpu was dying. annoying thing makes the 40 series unusable. now I can't install my tempered glass as it is bending the cable. and I have an ASUS Helios. maybe I'll try vertical mounting. but if you are having random black screens and the gpu fans ramp up, check your 16 pin cable.
