Idaho Murders: Bryan Kohberger’s New Lawyer, Search Warrant and Battle Over Evidence

As the preliminary hearing for Idaho murders suspect Bryan Kohberger approaches, new developments in the case are happening nearly every week. Authorities released the search warrant for Kohberger’s Washington apartment and his Washington State University office. Plus, the accused mass murderer received additional legal backup with another lawyer added to his defense team. His lead attorney, Anne Taylor, is also pushing prosecutors to turn over all evidence being withheld from the defense leading up to his hearing. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down with legal analyst Julie Rendelman.

Withholding evidence from Defense is not only suspicious, it's also illegal. On top of it it could be a deliberate attempt to make the jury find him guilty. Let's se the evidence as the Defense.

I think the prosecution is required to show all their evidence before trial.

Keep in mind, all, that the public is not privy to every piece of evidence thus far. So stop being weird, and acting like you’re on the prosecution or defense and have the information to definitively post that he is guilty or innocent. You can have an opinion, but there are some really odd comments on here with people saying they “know” this or that. You don’t “know” more than the prosecution or defense, so calm down.

There should be not one reason that they haven’t given over the evidence used to track, surveillance, DNA collection, all findings in the home, all findings in his vehicle, the homes of his parents and his. They should absolutely be receiving it and in time for the defense to be able to follow up on every thing the prosecutors plan to use for the preliminary to show he did it according to the prosecutors. Prosecutors are known as some of the best liars within the justice system & put their own spin and story to every case. Prosecutors have more than once been removed over exaggerated evidence or non existent evidence, but state it anyway.
