For the last time it's a private Christian university. If that is too bothersome to you, go watch a lecture from a secular campus. Our Christian identity defines all aspects of our life and that extends to the classroom.

The people that are thinking that bringing God into the lectures affects the lecture came here to complain not watch and listen to what is being taught. Yes! God is being brought in here but thus far I have yet to see how it would affect the professors ability to observe. Don't make assumptions about things that weren't even directly or even indirectly implied. This lesson doesn't have to be about God if you listen to everything else, don't be the person to bring God into this discussion it's getting old and boring. Start paying attention to the things you need and pay less attention to the things you then don't need.

Great lesson so far. This professor presents everything brilliantly. I am a teacher myself so from a teachers perspective: this is brilliantly executed and masterfully finished. I am studying in a different field right now so this is my first time touching on the subject of psychology in a little more detail so this is very well done.

So much respect and admiration for professor Chris Grace. I wish I was in his class, you guys are so lucky to be in his class. He is fun, he makes us smile, and he teaches his student in a good way. One student there is from Indonesia beruntung banget bisa belajar disana sama professor Grace. Thanks for this video Biola University, I am also currently in psychology class and i come across of this interesting and educating video. I learn new thing from this video, I learn about cutting-line technique, and I learn about why some people do not smile back when other people are smiling at them.

I really appreciate these videos. I can't afford to go back to school for my real passion (Psychology-Human Behavior)... and I find this very exciting as I still get a chance to learn with structure.

I'm agnostic and I'm open to hearing all views. the Idea of God is very interesting as psychics reveals that there's so much undetected with our senses. We are surrounded by things we can't see, touch, taste, hear, or smell.

But Religion itself I believe is abusive by nature. Think about gaslighting, stonewalling, and other abusive tactics; is it not used in various religions with the same intent, to lead (control) the masses?

Abuse is what I know most about, and it worries me that a psychologist in a university missed such a fundamental overlap.

I'd love to hear his thoughts.

For the people complaining about the religious stuff, this is a private Christian University. You will need to tolerate that. And I say that as an atheist.

If you really dont want to watch this, there are plenty of secular Introductory Courses on Psychology available on Youtube, including by MIT, Yale and Stanford.

I'm a God believer, but still I don't think a serious Psychologist should impose his beliefs on someone else. For people like the speaker, others don't take Psychology as science. Keep your beliefs for yourself, with all respect.
