Wow! I was impressed when you said “I’m gonna do some EJ lead tone” and really nailed it, but the chuggs really caught me by surprise. Fowler did it again! I appreciate you putting those in as a set to demo them for us. Hope to see a link to this demo on Jose’s page for the Venus Isle pickups. Your demos on Jose’s Planet Tone site are the best pickup sound samples of all the pickup companies. Fine Tunings and Planet Tone - a match made in heaven!

Wow I LOVE the sounds you were getting out of that axe! Recently discovered your vids and Planet Tone. Now Im even more conflicted as to keeping my stock Player Strat HSS, or getting these Venus Isles and go SSS .... not sure if I'd miss the 'bucker, as these look to handle some gain- I use solid state amps. Oh and some KILLER playing by the way😮!!

Say, you know your Planet Tones… what would you recommend for an upgrade to a my Les Paul Std? It’s a 2008 and whatever Gibson put in that year… I dunno.. I’d like something that sounds a bit more like my R9 but I can’t bring myself to buy Custombuckers.
I thought I might give Planet Tone a try.

Fantastic and engaging playing as always Lucas. I would seriously question the need for a Silver Sky if you can get this type of tone in any Strat style guitar. You do however have a way of making about anything you touch sound fantastic, but these pickups really are sweet sounding. God bless and rock on 🎸😎👍

If you are buying a set of three Strat pickups, the middle pickup is always ignored. The only full set I've heard that the middle sounds this good or better is the set Yvette Young has in her Ibanez signature.
