A Mercedes/AMG loyal fan, yet an enthusiast for M5 cars, used to own an E39M5 in another life, and I think it's potentially the best sports sedan ever made let alone the best M5.
I think having so many M5 variants is a bit confusing for the consumer, I know competition( AMG/ RS) will not likely answer the CS M5 with new models.
It would have made more sense to have an M5 competition station wagon instead.
