For general releases, bug fixes are provided for 18 months and security fixes are provided for 2 years.

For LTS releases, bug fixes are provided for 2 years and security fixes are provided for 3 years

LTS means Long Term Support that provides the longest window of support and maintenance.

PHP Version Update

Laravel 10 requires the minimum version of PHP 8.1

The PHP 8.1 requirement is because Laravel 10 is solely dependent on Symfony’s latest v6.0 release, which depends on PHP 8. So PHP version must be ≥ 8.1 for Laravel 10
