So I used this image to inspire a city called 'Corkus' in my dnd campaign. All the little houses and the river archway, my party explored its nooks and cranny's in search of adventure. We had this music playing the whole time

Maybe it's the MIDI instruments, but this reminds me of Daggerfall town music!!! The ever-present minor tension and release evoking the daily struggle.

Imagine if these are real towns in RPG's you can go to. Most RPG's do have towns that look nice but when you get INTO the town, it's pretty basic. Only game I've known was Iron Forge of World of Warcraft. That place had all the macro and micros of a real town that would act like this.

For example it wouldn't be that fictional to have several shops that sell the same thing at different prices. That's what towns are.
