As far as I know, screwdriver heads usually have a magnet to hold the screw.

There are such things as magnetic driver bits, also many companies offer a sliding cover for screwdriver bits that will work much better.

Canadian designed Robertson head has a wedge feature that works quite well, it doesn’t need a piece of wire to hold the screw, it just stays in the bit.

Just use magnetized tip. If somebody sees you with this you're getting fired. Not because you don't know how to use tools, it's because you make something complicated when it doesn't have to be.
