Taiwan conducts artillery drills as China holds military exercises near island

Taiwan held artillery drills simulating defence against an attack on Tuesday (Aug 9) with the firing of howitzers.

The island has accused China of preparing to invade as the Chinese military held its own drills near Taiwan.

They said China equipment are outdated and of low-tech.
Their jets barely flew, the missiles were way off targets, and radios were easy to intercept.
