It’s very sad how one of my favorite characters in friends for his sarcastic humor had such a tragic life.

In reality Matthew was never sober. Somehow he would get rid of one drug and just replace it with something else.

Everyone that played a role in his death by providing him the Ketamine need to be prosecuted, but I also want to point out they were only half at fault. The 50% of the blame goes to Matthew himself because in the end he was abusing the Ketamine. He payed the ultimate price which was death.
