Matthew admitted to taking Ketamine regularly in therapy sessions. How did the therapists and people within his circle think that this was acceptable? As a person who suffers with addiction, I was shocked when I read this in his book.

Matthew admitted to being a chronic drug addict, it is completely irresponsible of all involved to allow and administer any illicit substance to him.

Yes, he’s a grown man and capable of making his own decisions, but anyone who suffers with addiction will tell you how pathological and delusional their minds are when it comes to taking drugs / alcohol - once the seal of sobriety is broken, by any substance, it’s impossible to control.

I hope these drug dealers are locked up, but the therapists that thinks its ok to administer drugs to addicts need to seriously consider their actions as well.

How many people die from a drug overdose every day. Yet no one is jailed. But if you're rich and famous. No problem. It's wrong and it needs to stop. All life should matter.

The saddest, more abhorrent part of this sordid affair is to read the transcript of the emails exchanged between the doctors. "Doctors"???? Referring to him as an "idiot" and guessing how much he would be willing to pay for the drugs. I hope they lose their licenses for life. I wonder how much they will be willing to pay to wish this was just a dream.

This is like having a dug addicted kid who wants to blame everybody but the person who has the problem. Because he's a celebrity is the only reason so much attention is going on. Not giving a pass for those who facilitated his demise but give some blame where it belongs.

I don't feel sorry for Matthew he wanted fame and fortune and drug abuse can be a side effect of it due to the fact you have that wealth you can easily be taken over by temptation and fame can get you acess to about anything. With great wealth and fame comes big responsibility and self control is needed.

I wonder what the publisher of his book will do. In presenting himself as a recovering addict, while in active addiction, Perry misled a lot of people..
