Is the 2023 Nissan Z the BEST new performance car to buy?

The Z is one of the most iconic sports and Nissan brought some changes for 2023. Under the hood is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 that pumps out 400HP. On the outside you will discover optional 19in wheels, LED lighting and classic shape. On the inside you will find a 9in infotainment system, digital gauge cluster and leather seats with Alcantara. Great video as always. Unfortunately, Nissan dragged their heels way too long to get this car to the market and it already lost its mojo. They also missed the opportunity to put a removable Targa top so you can have the best of both worlds: hard top and Open top driving. For the asking price ($60k+)....the juice ain't worth the squeeze.

My 1990 Z non turbo was my first sports car. I thought it felt like a race car for the street when I got it in 2003, then I test drove a brand new Nismo 350 Z. I didn't know a suspension could feel SO stiff, so flat. it made my car suddenly feel soft so I guess that continues today. The new Nismo will be a beast!

MSRP price is one thing, but last Z I personally saw on a show room floor in FL had an additional 50k market adjustment added to it. Laughable!

Man we had a decent years recently. We got 400 Z, New type R, GR Corolla, and Integra Type S. Too bad mark ups are too high and most importantly I can't drive manual 😂

Hey Joe, I think they're saving all the goodies for the NISMO. I definitely will be saving for it. I can see what you mean about it being soft and slow shifting. Hopefully the NISMO can deliver with more power/tuning, aggressive suspension, and styling.
