How to Send an ePub to a Kindle

In the past, the only way to send an eBook to a Kindle was to send a mobi file through different methods. However, just recently, Amazon announced that you can now send ePub files - and soon, they will no longer accept mobi files.

So in this video I am going to cover the 3 methods in which you can send an ePub to a Kindle. I will also cover which methods I prefer and which you should stay away from and why.

If you are here and send epub to your kindle and send to kindle failed to send your file to your kindle, convert epub to Mobi and from Mobi to epub and send it again. It works. I don't know why, but it works. You are welcome.

Can you make a video on how to fix blank covers in the library? This only happens with epub files. Mobi files all have covers.

Thank you! I did this with my Kindle Fire, and it worked perfectly. I had to go into my contents & devices page to approve my email address, but now I have have more books to read!

Do you have or can you make a video about how to fix blank cover images in epub format? When I send the book via email, it loads with no cover image. I haven't been able to fix this issue. Thank you!

how does this affect dragging and dropping the file on your desktop with the kindle connected via usb?

For now i used the third method on my IPhone 11 and it doesn't change at all the book format and it works perfectly. I just select the EPUB file and directly open it on the app, after a minute (it takes some time) it will appear on the app in the document section or with your downloaded books. This is perfect since sometimes i buy e-books from others distributors, not just amazon, so i have everything in one app instead of having 2 apps for all my books.

how to convert books to kindle and have them display as BOOKS not as DOCUMENTS? all books i download come in the documents section and so will not show on my 'reading insights' when i read them. thanks

I just sent three epub books to my Kindle and I noticed that unlike the way it worked with the mobi format, this time the kindle didn't recognize the cover art of my books and I hated it. Is it a bug from their end? I would hate it if with the new updates I wasn't able to see my book covers.

Re: emailing yourself the epub file. if i dont get an email from amazon what do i do? i already tried using "send to kindle" and that failed twice. the file is zipped, do i need to unzip it first? i got an ARC of a book from an author and i need to read it this week

I tried to send my iBook ePub through Send to Kindle through Amazon and it will not work. Am I missing something?

i just got my kindle and i was using method 1 just fine till i started getting an error message saying "cannot send message using the server google" anyone know whats up with this and how to fix it??
