What are some common problems with metal panel rollforming machines and how do you avoid them?

**********************************

Today on the Metal Roofing Channel, Jeff is joined by Ben Bradley from New Tech Machinery to talk about 7 common problems with a portable rollforming machine. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list of problems, but these issues are some of the most common that are seen during training and service calls. One of the biggest takeaways is that no matter what machine you're running, make sure you are properly trained on the operation of that machine and you are familiar with the appropriate manuals.

Topics covered:
►Entry guide setup
►Overhead coil setup
►Uphill or downhill
►Panel finish damage
►Shear assembly setup
►Oil canning
►Miscellaneous problems

Just curious of approximately how many feet of this panel you can run in an average 8 hour day? Not installation, but set up, run out, cut and drop etc. Thanks

I've tried to get referrals for companies that install Sheffield products on my roof for Tucson area. Is there anyway you can help me get a name and number? Thank you.

None of these are problems with the roll forming machine, it's all problems with setting up a machine, so its a inaccurate video title. I would note thst most all of these problems can be solved easily by not buying a new tech.
