Those licks you played at the beginning were truly something. Congrats.

Hopefully one day I will make it onto your list.

I clicked because I love your videos and that thumbnail of Elvis looks so good.
I want to be a cross between James Bond, Steve Reeves, Bruce Lee, and Elvis.

Bowie loved his clothes. Always well turned out.

Robert Palmer inspired me in the 80’s.

The beginning of the video was special. I am glad you brought your talent for music into this channel. Well done!

Another great video. Appreciate you stepping out into the realm of historical style criticism. I'd suggest a video on Prince; dandy, yes. Eccentric, yes. But always had every last detail planned by himself and not a stylist. Just like he played every instrument without music sheets, he planned every outfit (and guitar) to maximize the aesthetic he wanted. He even moved on stage with consideration and intention for the appearance. Check out purple rain at the Superbowl halftime show in 2007 when the backlit sheet goes up for the guitar solo. There's few examples of talent meeting intentionality like THAT anywhere

Nobody ever seems to mention Charlie Watts, the drummer in the Rolling Stones, maybe because he was such a quiet, self-effacing kind of man. On stage he would be casually dressed, but off stage he would wear classic suits and shoes. Take a look at him in photo shoots with the other members of the group - they're all usually in their rock star gear, while Charlie is standing out in his immaculate, classy outfits.

This has recently become my favorite men's channel. Some years ago, I was watching a bunch of them, learning to dress in a more classic style, but Gent Z and Antionio are the only ones I watch regularly now. This was an amazing video for me. I like dressing in a more classic style, but I'm a DJ, and I like to have fun with it, so I've kept certain "rocker" elements like bracelets, necklaces, bandanas, hats, boots, etc. Looks freaking amazing, and gets a lot of compliments. Not as peacocky as Jimi. Sometimes a little bit Nick Cave. Great video, man 👍

My list would be Elvis, Michael Jackson, Bowie, Prince, these guys not only had an expensive wardrobe each but they had iconic looks.

Britt Daniel, singer from Spoon is always dressed nice for his concerts. I think he hits the mark perfectly with smart casual

For me, Morrissey and Chris Isaak were shining lights of classical fashion in the 1980's and early 1990's.

Both played with the 1950's and 1960's styles, which was clearly visible on their record covers and music videos.

I had a similar orientation back then.

Nice riffing in the intro. Beautiful guitar as well, I love the tone from ES-335 style guitars.

you just unlocked a new kind of aesthetic in my head for playing that guitar with a sharp fit! I'm just kidding, I'm no stranger to it. If you guys are into Japanese City Pop, you would understand where I am coming from if you like Tatsuro Yamashita or Toshiki Kadomatsu.

You should do a video on the Beatles, who were my main inspiration - always immaculately dressed, even in their psychedelic phase. They covered the whole arc of 60s rock fashion, from the leather jackets of their Hamburg days, through to the mid-sixties mod styles and on to the flared trousers, . wide collars and loud colours of the late sixties.

The Beatles were something else from the 1960 to 1966

Hi 👋 Yes I agree with all of what you have said here. I saw Nick Cave in the early 1980s in concert when he fronted his band the Birthday Party. He is an individual. I like Paul Weller, and he still dresses with style. He's a good songwriter and entertainer. I like Elvis, he loosened up mens fashion in the 1950s. Thanks for your video. From Carl in New Zealand.

Great ideas and points. Hopefully helps many, especially in the USA. Having lived, played and worked in a few nations overseas, there is a stark contrast in what is “acceptable ". Performing a show, at a concert hall, with admission, the performers should put effort toward the visual context. As a side note, anyone reading, low on financial resources or ideas, go to the near college theatre departments and request extra unneeded items.
