Hi Gerard, thank you for posting this. My infotainment screen was ghost touching on engine start up for a few minutes. I brought it to the dealer, and they said it needed an update. Now, they say my 2017 Mazda Cx-5 is too old to be updated and they have left me with a screen that says "Install Not Successful: System Failure. Make sure that the USB with update package is inserted. The system will then automatically retry the update". The dealership claims that I need to replace the entire console and my warranty ran out 2 years ago, and it will cost over A$2000. Are they lying to me? Is there something I can do to reset it to an older update? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
