The adaptor adapts the Tesla you showed allows the tesla with a Proprietary plug to use a j1772 adapter. It allows a Tesla to charge at a j1772 charger (all others but a Tesla Charge Starion which use the j1772 plug.). The Connector on a Tesla charging station WILL NOT fit your Bolt. Sorry.

Amazon also sells adapters for Tesla branded chargers to J1772. My old office building had 4 Tesla destination chargers and my understanding is that the adapter would let any other EV or PHEV use them. Won't work with the Tesla superchargers, though.

we charge our T3 dual motor at a Tesla station, too! And sometimes we take 'lectricity off our Tesla glass solar roof.

Thanks for the information because people are driving more electric cars, and they will need to know what works plus where these charging stations are located.

The Tesla charging cable plug will NOT fit into the fast charging sockets of the Chevy Bolt. It looks as though the two big terminals would fit, but the Tesla plug has a curved lower part that prevents insertion onto the Bolt receptacle.
