HOW I SAVED this old coffee table Using PLASTER

I found this table on the side of the road and new I could save it. The veneer was worn with broken wobbly legs.
It definitely was a long process, having to allow the plaster to completely dry in between applications. I applied around 3 coats of my plaster allowing it to dry in between applications along with sanding. Loads of sanding!!
However I am a big fan of texture!! And this definitely suits!
I used old pipes we had down the back and cut them down to my desired size.
I finished with 2 x coats of furniture paint and a clear sealer over the top.
This process was the same for the legs.
