John MacArthur: WERE OLD TESTAMENT PEOPLE SAVED?

Dr. John MacArthur is—far and away—America’s greatest Bible teacher. In 2015, I had a burning desire to understand what the Bible really meant, however, everywhere I searched, all
I found was grossly undereducated men who called themselves “preachers” or “pastors” who were chiefly interested in:
1. Making money
2. Gaining popularity
3. Spreading a false gospel

It was quite obvious to me they had very little Biblical knowledge.

MacArthur, on the other hand, has a vast knowledge of the Bible and goes to great pains to explain it so articulately. I can honestly say that he changed the direction of my life. I am forever grateful to find such a wonderful teacher. Therefore, I’ve created this YouTube channel in order to propagate his accurate and thorough Biblical teachings.

MacArthur is not focused on making money, unlike many false Christian preachers today. You can download his sermons for FREE! Just click on this link to go directly to his sermons.

I pray that God blesses you with a deeper understanding of the Word of God!

I feel (only what I can assume to be) miserable every time I notice sin in my life. I can't imagine how they felt back then.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit is God who has always been there before the world. He saved people who believed in him and has continued to save us who believe in him.

How refreshing to hear a Protestant Pope; speaking ex cathedra, from the Chair (Pulpit) of St. Paul!

Who we know as Jesus the Christ is actually Yahweh the Son who was eternally existent as well before his incarnation, in which state he will be permanently.

Matter of fact, it seems quite likely that a pre-incarnate appearance of him is found in the Old Testament where we read about a character called “the Angel of the Lord.”

Let's use Moses for an example the Bible does not say that Moses was filled with the Holy Spirit he was moved by God.

Abraham was not moved by the Holy Spirit he was moved by God. The Bible says that he was called by God

What about the Gentiles to whom God did not call but only Abraham and his descendants? But what about the ancient Assyrian, Babylonians, Egyptians, the Philistines and many others, are all these people living in these ancient times all going to spend eternity in hell because let's face it, God did not call them and made covenants, promises and laws to them? Is it fair that all these will spend eternity in hell when they were never given a chance for salvation?

Noah preached the Gospel, ALL the patriarchs preached the Gospel, faith in the Lord FOR the remission of sins Acts 10:43
Even King Saul he rebelled against the Lord continually, whop ended up committing suicide was saved, he went to Heaven.
The Bible teaches not one person in the ENTIRE Old Testament was saved by the Law, aka repenting from sins
Every single one of them was saved by faith Acts 2:16

Without getting into a lot of explanation, I personally believe that the Holy Spirit did not enter Old Testament believers. The Old Testament was a outward picture of what happened inwardly in the New Testament believer. In other words, God dwelt in a physical temple in the Old Testament, but he indwelled people who then became God's Temple in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit came upon people in the Old Testament, but did not enter them. Upon death, Old Testament saints went to Abraham's bosom as a waiting tank until Redemption was purchased. In the New Testament we immediately receive the indwelling of the spirit and Redemption. The Holy Spirit was definitely involved in teaching people and inspiring them before Christ, but I don't believe they were in dwelt. That's what I have learned.

I personally believe we are born (birth) of the Spirit (Gods Breath) and repress it because the Worldy teaching (life)We live and That is Why Jesus said (John 6:44) Which would mean we Must be Born Again for the Spirit Never Dies He (Spirit) just lives on in Heaven or Hell depending on Our Choice. ! Shalowm and Amen just the way i see life with Father.!

He says this and then he dismisses Tony Evan's transdispensationalism. There's no difference.

The Scripture says it, the Holy Spirit was with them, and *WILL BE* in them (after Christ's glorification). Christ's death and resurrection made it possible for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us: He didn't indwell anyone b4 that; *with them not in them*
So John Mac is wrong on that
