I really like that Grievous is even here. It adds a lot of significance to the episode and arc as a whole. The whole arc of course is the creation of lightsabers, all of them being unique in their own way just like the users. Then here comes Grievous, the one infamous for collecting lightsabers to his collection. It just makes sense.

I love how the general has 3 blue and 1 green saber it really shows he has a collection and likes to switch around from time to time.

I can’t be the only one who loves when Grievous is walking with his hands behind his back. This is especially dope with the music

People bash this fight for how Grievous didn’t kill Ahsoka but I feel like at this point in the series her holding her own and BEING FORCED TO RETREAT makes a lot of sense. It was a little goofy when they fought in season 1 but by now she’s had a lot of combat experience, dueled with many different opponents, everyone tends to overlook her skills when she was trained by one of the strongest Jedi in the Republic.

did you notice that ahsoka didn't beat grievous, she just stalled him so the kids would escape. Disney take notes, that protagonist does not mean super powerful.

Ahsoka should have been raised as a Jedi Knight after this battle.. She saved a bunch of younglings and survived an encounter with Grievous... a feat many council members could not have done...

Yeah grievous could've been cooler in this cartoon, but let's face it. Nearly everyone in the 2003 clone wars series was op. I mean c'mon, as powerful as mace windu is, I doubt he could take on an entire droid army by himself while only using the force. If this were true, then they could've sent mace to win every fight. Sure grievous could've been better, but if he was as powerful as he was in the 2003 micro series, then all of his fights would've been predictable. If he fought minor Jedi, they would've died and any Jedi who made an appearance in episode 3, or is important would've escaped or beaten grievous.

I mean, Grievous won the duel. Easily at that. Ashoka isn't dead because of plot armour, as Grievous could have killed her in 4 occations. Nevertheless, she still ran away without making Grievous flinch. The episode just before, Grievous beat Obi Wan (who defeated Maul and Savage at the same time like later that week) and took his entire Crusier, making him run away.
