Stormtroopers perspective: there's nothing here but junk.
Darth Vader's perspective: there's nothing here but ghosts.

Darth Vader had no need to concern himself with a long forgotten exiled Jedi and a ship full of dead clones. But to Anakin, there was nothing more important.

Imagine such a widely beloved series going for over a decade, you always knew it was going to end like this eventually...but even still, nothing could prepare you when the moment finally came.

My all time favourite thing about this scene? That final shot.

After all these episodes, after all these adventures, after getting to know these characters so well throughout this amazing and entertaining intergalactic war.

The final shot of “The Clone Wars.” Is a dead clones shattered mask and Vader in its reflection.

It’s totally a way of saying
*The War is over, The Clones are finished… onwards to The Empire!*

No emotions.
He had no more anger.
He had no more tears.
His reaction is just acceptance.

It’s so crazy to think that, in that suit of armor is Anakin. The same Anakin with a handsome face and long hair is the one in that suit. After watching Clone Wars, Anakins fall becomes 100x more sad because we watched countless hours of him, Obi-Wan and Ashoka going on adventures. And now it’s just him, stuck in a prison that he’s built for himself

This scene gives me chills every time I watch it. Vader’s long lost pupil’s lightsaber, a graveyard of comrades, everything Order 66 touched laid to waste. Anakin sacrificed his humanity out of fear of losing everything, and in the end, _he has nothing._

This was the last bit of anakin left that had just disappeared. He lost everything. His master, his wife, his family but he still had his apprentice. He was still looking for her but now finding nothing but her lightsaber. He finally gave up and gave in to the dark side fully as Darth Vader. And when he did find her, it was too late by that time.

It's the way Darth Vader didn't need to travel all across the galaxy to some moon to salvage an old Republic Star Destroyer, but Anakin Skywalker did.

It's interesting that Vader, despite being locked in that suit which makes even simple movement excruciatingly painful, had actually knelt down to pick up Ashoka's lightsaber as opposed to just using the Force.

You can almost see the pain, hatred and sadness through the mask, she was one of the most important people in anakins life

Vader looks so crisp in this art style. I feel this is the best that the Vader design has looked.

*”Vader didn't have to fly to a small, remote moon to look for the remains of one, insignificant Jedi in the old wreck of a Republic Cruiser, but Anakin — oh, but Anakin needed to."*

This scene shows that vader doesn’t even need to speak to be intimidating

This was heartbreaking. The clone wars version of Anakin we’ve liked over the years met his destiny in becoming Darth Vader.

"Anakin is gone. I am what remains"... This scene is so sad... this is him, this is the Anakin we followed throughout this entire show, the optimistic cheerful guy who loved his friends and would do anything for them, the same guy who said "I'll never let anyone hurt you Ahsoka", here he is, completely lost and gone, now just a former shell of the hero we grew up with.

I love how careful he was with the lightsaber he didn’t even use the force to pick it up

The clones in the crash died thinking that they were dying for the Republic.

But in reality they died _with_ the Republic. They’ve served their true purpose and are thrown away like trash.

A victory for Sidious and the Empire, and the death of the Jedi and the Republic.

These brave soldiers and their stories will be lost to time.

The greatest tragedy that the Galaxy will never know.

Personally what i live about this scene is, that's not Vader...that's Anakin. His wife is now gone, his friend's all gone, when he ignites the saber and sees the ruined ship and looks up...he realizes he's truly alone
