9:45 The flashing is bacuse you have it on a repeat command block. The number is how long the animation lasts, so if it’s negative, one tick later it realizes it should be done so it ends, but then the repeat command block brings it back. That’s why later when it’s just 5, you can see the animation “jiggle” because it tries to transition back to normal but then the command block resets it

10:10 the reason the entities flash is because that number was not how big they are, its how long the animation lasts. when you set it to 0 or a negative number its just constantly playing and stopping the animation, hence the flashing.

I’ve actually experimented with this same command myself, and I’ve learned that it’s incredible for adding decorations in adventure maps. For example, you can pose armor stands without commands, and then use the sleeping player animation to make it look like the armor stand fell over. Another thing I’ve found is that you can use that same ghast scale animation to increase the size of mob heads. This means you can create massive Ender dragons if you’re willing to build the upscaled body of it as well.

This is, without a doubt one of my favorite commands.

at 9:20 the clock isnt too fast for bedrock edition, it also wouldnt work in java.
this is because you need at least 3 redstone dust after the comparator output and there were only 2.
