That’s cuz it’s the first in the tech tree. Also, it’s a high altitude interceptor trying to dogfight and turn fight the stubbiest plane at the battle rating

The first mistake of that guy is not using it as an interceptor

The i16's guns become extremely deadly with stealth belts. It usually feels like you're shooting a modern jet gun when you only tap on the mouse once and if it hits it kills the enemy they just put so much explosive in it

I saw 3 mistakes on that P38
1.He's flying at (too) low altitudes on Heavy Fighter which make him already a easy target (Idk he's dumb or he's attacking ground target but that still too low for Heavy Fighter)
2.He is turn fighting on U.S. plane which not a good thing to think of
3.He is turn fighting a I-16 (do I've to say more?) instead of Head-On and run away

The p38 is a vertical fighter, not a dogfighter. As soon as they went under you, their fate was sealed.

The p-38 has terrible turn radius I’ve used it before in low tier and it sucks against turn fighters not to mention it’s a big target too, so if you ever grind americas tech tree I’d give it a skip on using it

Trust If you gonna dog fight with a P38 bust out the landing flaps and go vertical you'll be able to surprise allot of people like that
