How To Disable Background App Refresh In iOS 16

Regardless whether you’re connected to the Internet through cellular data or Wi-Fi, by default, the apps in your device that’s running iOS 16 are allowed to refresh and download information from their respective servers in the background.

In most cases, there’s really no problem with it. However, if you’re on a limited cellular data plan and you already have a lot of apps refreshing in the background, then you might end up incurring higher bill charges at the end of the month.
