One of the better low budget Italian westerns in my view -doing what Italian westerns did best; violent gunplay, brutal beatings, revenge storyline…and a crazy undertaker too. Worth a watch this one.

An almost perfect spaghetti. Wonderful shots of Almeria -- an eerie beauty. Good soundtrack. Terrific trickster. Only the ending misfires. There is a strange segment of Virginia going to the MacDonald ranch to find Cjamago, then she gets in her buggy and leaves. It would make more sense for her to stay and feed and water the poor animals since no humans are left. Then when Barrica shows up -- he'll tell her to hide (but where she can see all the action of course). After Cjamango and Barrica finish the all the killings, she could come out to embrace Cjamango. When Cjamango says "Let me take you home." She should say "But I am home." Then Cjamango should look around at the burned out sections of the ranch and say "We'll have a lot of work to do." Then Barrica says "Don't worry about all these bodies. I'll take care of it." The End.
