I tap my foot to correct and check rhythms. Iam working towards Grade 8 on Clarinet and Grade 7 on Sax and found this helpful! In the past I focused too much on rhythms that I neglected other details like articulation and intonation which let me down in the exams in the past. It’s remembering that the details as as important as the rhythm. Ties drive me crazy because they mess my rhythm!

Hello Martino, loved the words. (By the way I find "pineapple" avoids the syncopation problem of "elephant"). What advice would you have for when crotchets, quavers and semiquavers appear together in the same bar?

I’m a beginner, and finding rhythm playing the saxophone has been hard. I get BPM helps keep you in rhythm but whenever I play major scale on pentatonic scale with 16th notes it’s almost always impossible for me to stay with the BPM. How do I stay with the BPM and play fast notes without losing track
