I don’t think any shop would stand behind a repair on such a neglected engine. I wouldn’t. You know that as bad as the coolant was the liners are ticking time bombs.

Always look forward to see what you’re working on, it’s always something new. My favourite thing about your channel is the wide amount of repairs you do!

Gordon, You mentioned earlier that it was going to take some effort to remove that turbo, and you weren't lying. My patience would have been tested for sure.

Turbo usually don't fail without some warning signs like compressor wheel rubbing the housing driver needs to pay better attention

Gordon, get that coolant flushed out. The liners can get pitted too. I don’t recall if it was one of your videos during your over haul, but I saw someone’s liner pitting. I’m no mechanic, but I’ve seen videos where the block is destroyed and starts leaking because of water being used. I just hope they do something, drain it, put something in there to clean it, and flush it out, and refill it.

Air cooler and intake manifold is probably full of oil too.

The part you are looking at starting at 5:28 where the turbo attaches...i have oil leak on the bottom side of that any cause for concern there? Had it checked out and they said it wasnt a big deal. Would like to add that there is no oil on either end of the turbo took pipe off both ends and it was dry.
