The oldest restaurant in the world is the "St. Peter Stiftskeller" in Salzburg, Austria.
Established in 803, practically more than 900 years older than this.
In the world there are at least 6 restaurants older

I looked it up a top 10 and even the #10 spot exceeded 500 years.

The real oldest restaurant in fact is called St. Peter Stiftskulinarium in Austria, and was apparently founded all the way back in 803, over 4 times as old as this place. It’s said that Christopher Columbus, Johann Georg Faust, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Clint Eastwood have all been served at this very inn.

It depends on your definition of “oldest.” The one in this video is not the “oldest” for its establishment, but its operation years. The others have shut down, and reopened, or have changed from it’s original building. Hence why this restaurant is classified by the Guinness book of world records as the oldest restaurant in history.

There's a restaurant that's part of a hotel in Japan that has been around for 1, 000 years longer. Back in the day they had the local inn which is a place for food, ale, and sleep. This inn has been open since 705ad

It's incorrect. Austria has the oldest restaurant in Salzburg, started business in 803-806 AD and the restaurant is still in business.
