You posted this on the day I got my smallest pay cheque of the year. Yes, I can tell you for sure. If I got an extra $10k it would make an *enormous* difference to me right now. Would it make my life perfect? Of course not. But there are a *lot* of people who struggle to pay their rent and keep the lights on and put food on the table, for example. I have my own struggles. Many, many people do. Just because an extra $10k wouldn't change the life of a high income earner doesn't mean it's not going to be transformative for a significant percentage of the population.

A recent study showed no matter what people made (even over 10mil) people almost always say if they made twice as much, then they’d stop stressing about money

Yes, that would more than double my income. I haven’t had a vacation in 10+ years, it’s tough to live as cheap as i do. $10k a month period would decrease my stress not to zero but infinitely to know my bills are covered and i can rebuild savings, etc.

Im broke 500 bucks would be huge right now. I wouldn't feel different about money, but i would feel better about my current situation. 🎉

They say money don't buy happiness. I wouldn't mind being sad on a beach with a frozen drink right now. This happy broke 💩 is for the birds.

I used to work 2 jobs busting my ass which accumulated to 30, 000 a year. Now I work 1 job and make 58, 000 a year with overtime I can add on to that if need be and my life is significantly easier. I'm much happier, stress free person, and I can tell you an extra 10, 000 would do me wonders. It irritates the hell out of me seeing people imply money doesn't make you happy. These people have no idea what it's like to have nothing and living in a constant struggle that feels like it has no end.

More you have, the more you spend. Unless you live the same way with more money, nothing is going to change.

You’re wrong. I have more in the bank than I ever have and I am significantly less stressed than I ever have been. My attitude to work is much improved. I am able to pay off small debts and buy new white goods if and when I please. It also meant I was able to stop renting and put a deposit on my own house.

Yeah, I literally have zero dollars if you just gave me an extra 5 million I would probably be happy for the rest of my life I would die knowing that at least I had $5 million at one point and that would make me way more happy than anybody ever fucking telling me it wouldn’t
