His and Her Circumstances, Kimagure Orange Road, Kimi No Todoke should be on that list. But my number one all time would have to be Rumiko Takahasi's Maison Ikkoku - its old and long at 96 eps but so worth it.

You missed two classics. Kimagure Orange Road and Love Hina. KOR is the better of the two, IMHO. It ran for 18 manga volumes, on pilot anime (different voice for Madoka), 48 TV episodes, and eight OAVs, and two movies. The also made a number of CDs from the BGM and other music in the series.

SUCH A GREAT LIST!!! I hadn't watched anything on this list before a few months ago...so far, I've now seen Toradora, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, My Love Story, Orange, and Yuri!!! on Ice & all of them were absolutely amazing (besides Toradora - no offense). All are among my personal top favorie anime series ever.

i would like suggest a romantic anime/manga which i liked a lot "relife"
its about a 28 year old neet having his relife of one year as high school student and how meet with a 18 year old "not good in communication skill" and they fell in romance and other stuff and how he and girl forget about each other and its ongoing and there some emotional scene and lots of comedy with school life and motivated scene(not sure about that) and classical romance
