I remember his pro day it rained just a little so ofcourse Cowherd had to spend the next 20 minutes talking about how impactful it was to see him throw in the rain, , oh and he wanted to throw in the rain! Honestly Allen was a perfect fit for buffalo .. it’s was kinda manifest destiny that he ended up there..still though a lot of people wanted Josh Rosen. I knew after seeing him beat the Vikings on the road in week 3 as 17 point underdogs while completing jumping over a LB that he was of a different caliber. Then the arm talent got refined. But i never expected him to be as good as he is now

I went to Texas Tech when Mahomes was playing. We KNEW he was going to be good. He had a game against Oklahoma where he threw for over 700 yards!

It's why I desperately wanted the Bills to draft him! Of course, they were dumb & traded the Chiefs the pick, but yeah... Allen was a huge risk.

I'm just glad he was the 1 in a million "project QB" drafted on physical tools & "potential" to actually pan out 😅
