I'm in Cincinnati and recently started my vinyl collection. I'll check this place out soon.

I am a Columbus native and have been shopping at Used Kids since 1988 when I started college at Ohio State. Love this place. Great overview. I'm mostly a CD guy these days and I LOVED your suggestion for switching the 45s with the CDs. That would save me so much time. But Greg's not a believer in the 2nd coming of CDs (which is already happening due to crazy vinyl prices).

One of my favorite local shops. I also love Elizabeth's records for older, classic vinyl and RPM (especially the giant stack of cds.) Used Kids is always my go-to shop for RSD releases and unique/oddball releases.

I’ve been going there since it was on high Street. I think the first time I went there was 1993

Good thing you didn't bring any firearms or weapons with you Jamie.
Thanks for the tour, quite nostalgic. The last record store (Sam Goodys) around here left probably 25 years ago. The store that loved going to was J&R Music World, the same one Pete reminiscences about. There was also a hole-in-the-wall music store south of Astor Place in NYC (maybe Mulberry St?). It was 2 or 3 levels, grimy, punky, it was great. Went there during college, which was...a long time ago.

I used to hang out at Used Kids in the late 80's when I was going to Ohio State University. Great to see that they've grown and are still out there. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for checking out this video that turned out to be a bit of an experiment. I used a DJI Osmo Mobile 6 (phone stabilizer) and a film editing app for the first time. And I hope to get better at both in the future.

I can’t get out to the record stores for a few reasons so it’s always fun to live vicariously through videos like this. Nice to see SoT content like this, cheers for the video Jamie!

Cool video that. Always good to see Paradise Lost on SOT 🤘 Albeit very briefly 😁

Coincidentally, I got a Tangerine Dream too (on CD) the last time I went to Used Kids. That was a couple of years ago — I should go back. Enjoy Rubycon!
