It starts like a "guess the elo" video. It ends like a "and that's why Magnus is considered the endgame wizard" video.

I don't have anything insightful to say but I just wanted to say I love this channel and it's responsible for my complete lack of productivity at work. Keep up the good stuff Levy!

it's hard to find anything about these players, but I did manage to get Tylkowski's first name - Roman.

That rook and knight might be the two saddest individuals I've ever seen on a chess board...

Meanwhile in game, hop....hop....hop, okay i think if I move my king here, I won't get forked. Gets forked.

Levy you should find a game played before en passant was created where a guy lost cause he can't en passant

I love how Levy introduces the video as a meeting of great chess minds and proceeds to present us with a 1930's Guess the ELO

Now I’m gonna wait for Levy to cover UNO or checkers as a joke. Maybe a good April fools vid idea…..

None of the moves before the combination, by either player, were blunders. Their goal was to be featured in a Gotham video 90 years in the future.

I'm really glad he's here to explain this because otherwise I'd just be like "haha he blundered a rook and a bishop what an idiot"

No joke my favorite tactic I've ever seen. I've watched this 4 times. GL in your GM journey Levy.

The combination is amazing. However, it's entirely possible the game is a fiction, even though it was published in a Polish magazine around that 1931. And remarkably the core combination happened a second time. All this I learned from the wonderful Chess Curiosities blog by Tim Krabbé. Anybody who loves weird and wonderful chess, feel free to get lost in all the weirdness he collected.

The last thing left to say after that combo is Polska górą
