Correction, the DJI FPV can take 12MP photos… what i mean is the option to take 48MP as the Mini 3. Photos coming from the DJI FPV is only decent to ok.

I am really hoping this drone will be bad a$$. My downside with it is truly having a spotter to have visual sight of the drone. That is my real downside to this drone. I do hope this will be easy to repair and getting replacement guards for this will be as easy as removing a few screws and swapping a cage that comes off and lets you replace the damaged one. Also, this does look a lot more durable. Hope they don't mess up and make parts hard to get.

I will wait till the YouTube videos come out and get some good reviews. I'd love to learn to fly FPV and I really like your review showing how user friendly this is. DJI has a drone program you can play and learn to fly, but after buying my Mini 2 and later my Air 2s and finding out neither controller works where I could either practice or use to to learn FPV the safe way and do all sorts of stupid crap and not worry about crashing it. Come on DJI update that damn software so more people can use their new DJI drones and get some real practice in or on a cold rainy day like Ken Heron does a video on, you can just do it and have a blast!

I don't expect much from avata. Most likely, it will occupy its niche next to the DJI FPV drone. There are a lot of questions about how the sensors from below will work, whether it will be possible to turn off, etc. In addition, the weight of half a kilo confuses to body ratio. Will it be agile enough. All merged videos do not show active flights. Just a slight drift. I believe it will fly like a cow on ice... will see. I heard 25-th of august is the date of announcement. But he release could be change due to launch "remote Id" thing in US witch is a big market for DJI

The main downside in Europe and reason not to buy will be the range if the rumors become true. 2km at best (more 1km irl) is just not enough for a drone in this price range.

I wouldn't read too much into the (unfolded) comment on the box. If I had to be it will not be foldable because that would not be as durable. It appears to be a pretty small drone so I wouldn't make that much difference anyway. As It is, It looks pretty durable but you probably won't be able to bounce off something at a great speed and recover as this usually messes with the accelerometer. You'll just have to bear in mind that things like branches can still get around the prop guards at time and when they do loss of control is assured. Just to temper expectations a bit. All that being said looks pretty good from what I've seen and am looking forward to a purchase when its available.

I'm new to fpv Drones and I'm looking for a realistic reason coming from a dji mavic and inspire, like do they overheat? Are they limited in range? speed?

Mite be expensive but let's face it, it's not a kids toy. It's for the people who expect quality and quantity for their money. I think DJI has pulled another great drone out of the box of magical flying machines.

Hey! Question, why did you say @1:30 if you haven’t started flying FPV, it’s time to start?
I just wanted to hear your reasoning behind this statement. I’ve been trying to get very good at flying a regular drone like my MA2. I’m constantly trying to fight the urge to buy an FPV so I can focus on mastering the MA2 manually.
In your opinion, do you think it’s best to continue to focus only on mastering the MA2 manually or is it ok to practice the FPV as well?

If you all ready have DJI FPV drone, I don't see any point of getting this.
