The use of silence moments letting you take in what happend, and making you immediately love the characters with their adorable designs then breaking your heart at the end still impresses me today.

I remember watching this when I was a kid with my dad. This always made me cry. Not because all the family was gone, just because the kid at the end was all alone with no one to be with. I remember crying in the arms of my dad, and he'll be laughing, and I can't believe this video is still up. This brings me a lot of good memories of when I was a kid.

This move freaking TRAUMATISED me as a kid like between the sadness, the fear of whatever that disease is, and the kid attempting to murder his teddy at the end, I was DISTURBED.

Bro. Watching this as a kid broke me. It still does. The fact she watched her family die was just sad. And as an overthinking kid I would think, “what if there’s no one to help her” or “shes still a kid like me who’s gonna help her, what if she also dies”. It just broke me so much.
