I've been streaming with a laptop, good to know info. As for cooling, this 4 vented laptop brings temps even under 70 when heavy gaming. But its still a lappy, planning to upgrade to a more powerful pc in the future.

Why not just use a dedicated capture card to stream and record? Wouldn't that take the load off from the processor/GPU? I'd imagine a 4 core 8 thread processor would be the minimum for streaming no?
