Flooding at Saguaro Lake after monsoon storm hits Sunday

Wow! Watch how quickly lake goers had to clear the area as a monsoon storm hit Saguaro Lake yesterday. More than an inch of rain fell there this weekend, causing a heavy flood to roll through the recreation area. Luckily no injuries were reported.

The sucky thing is that most of these developers build on washes, and if u don't have the insurance, you are assed out no more, house, car just be careful buying a house 😉

Yep, that's Arizona. It doesn't last much, very rarely it does. For 8 years I encountered such rain maybe 5 times and all on the freeway/highway. I lived in Fountain Hills and it almost never rained there, not like that. You'd get a slight sprinkle for 3-5min and its over. But from my backyard I could see the black clouds, they were like a ring around Fountain Hills, meaning there was a crazy downpour everywhere around me, but in Fountain Hills we often even had the sun shining, while others were being drowned. 😂

Yes it’s really something how conditions really change in WASHES in the desert when it rains. It’s almost like those dry river channels become temporary rivers because all the water washes into them and down them.
