I don't think Elon ever had an interview that wasn't softball or outright fawning before this. Even the one where he told off the advertisers, the interviewer was actively trying to de-escalate and help him spin. He was just too unhinged to take advantage of it. So with this enormous privilege it's no surprise that having a serious interview seems like a hostile interrogation to him...

5:37 - I went to college for psychology and: Yes, ketamine is a genuine treatment for depression. Particularly treatment-resistant depression. Although normally in this case it's given in low doses through an IV under the supervision of doctors in decreasing frequency over a period of time.

Ketamine is, in fact, a thing for depression. However, it's like saying I take Shrooms for depression. It's meant to be minute, microdosed amounts and at specific times; like basically any drug on the face of the planet. If you're walking around work with a baggie of shrooms and downing two or three in one go and saying "muh depression", 99.9% of the population would get fired for it. For treatment of depression, considering most dosages are 0.5 mg/kg, and people can respond to dosages between 0.1 mg/kg to 0.75. If he's snorting whole ass rails at work, which would range between 30 mg/kg to 60 mg/kg, that is *not* the intended dosage for treatment for depression.

If I'm being 100% honest, Elon Musk's rampant drug use is probably the *_one_* relatable thing about the guy. I say let him cook, at least in that regard lol. Just maybe vote him off the board of Tesla and Space X or whatever if possible ...But then, that's been a good idea for a while, even ignoring the drugs, just cus he's an erratic mess of incompetence.

This is so fucking stupid. I did about 8 hours total research on K...it's not meant to be used regularly AT ALL. It's used for major depressive episodes to enable quick recovery, but NO physician, psychologist or psychiatrist will EVER recommend it under normal circumstances or diagnosis of depression. It's the equivalent of suggesting regular brain surgery for a minor headache. PLEASE take this shit seriously people. It's good to switch the default mode off when you have no idea how to make sense of it, but this will forever change your brain for the worst if you chase that shit with K. Please use it once, maybe twice in ten years and engage with therapy and supporting prescribed medication, diet and exercise.
