The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies | Official Gameplay Trailer

Get ready to pursue inspiring skills and meaningful businesses! With the new Ticket Kiosk you can run the business you want, charging customers for entry or for time spent. Incorporate the new hobbies – Pottery and Tattooing – into your business, charge for lessons, or come up with something unique! You can start your business right out of your Sim's home. There's a new selector tool that allows you to designate space for your business.

With the new Tattooing skill comes new possibilities for expression. You can even create custom tattoos and share them with other players through The Gallery! With this pack tattoos can also be layered, giving you more freedom to get creative.

With Pottery, you'll have the option to add a glaze (there are a variety to choose from) and at high skill levels you'll be able to use the Japanese art of Kintsugi to repair broken ceramics with gold.

Explore the skills you're passionate about in a new world: Nordhaven! This historic town has daily Meetups for hobbies where your Sims can connect with those who share their interests, and maybe even find a Mentor. You can also grow your skills by attending Classes or Lectures, or you might want to host them yourself! Classes are goaled events that are run as part of a small business, which means you can earn Simoleons teaching any skill.

This seems like a very fun Business pack, but there isn’t really that much focus on hobbies. It’s nice to see a customizable feature like Tattoos being integrated with gameplay, and the pottery skill seems like a very cute hobby for more sentimental sims; but this pack feels more like it’s meant to be a cross-compatibility pack over an actual new one.

Sims 4 cost is so insane. Talking about almost 2, 000 dollars for the entire product, most of which are shallow versions of its older games. Why does the community support this sort of crud from EA? This pack seems like a half-measure update to Get to Work with some stuff packs sprinkled in. Note, almost every feature here has been ripped from popular mods.

I think the German name for the pack is a lot more fitting than the English one.
In German it’s called „Vom Hobby zum Business“ which translates to „From hobby to business“

I don't think this will be a bad expansion. It's just catfishing in its name. It should have been called "The sims 4: Small Businesses"

This should be a free update, it’s not fair to sell incomplete features and then sell an additional pack to complete those features.
