FOSTER: Behind the Scenes with Documentary Subject Raeanne --

Recently, we caught up with Raeanne, whose story is featured in the upcoming HBO documentary FOSTER. Her story is often difficult, but it is one of hope. In the film, Raeanne is trying to remain with her newborn daughter, Kris’Lyn, who is removed from her care after being born with drugs in her system. Custody is granted to Kris’Lyn’s father while Raeanne receives treatment.

FOSTER will premiere on Tuesday, May 7th on HBO. We are excited for people to learn more about the foster care system and hear stories like Raeanne’s that are often hidden from public view. There is so much we can learn from Raeanne, and we hope audiences will see that these families are our families.
